Scott Cowie

Scott joined the firm in 1997 after working for a large city centre law firm, specialising in domestic and commercial conveyancing. Scott continues to deal with both aspects of conveyancing on a daily basis and also provides advice and assistance to corporate clients and small businesses. With his experience in the field, Scott offers a high standard of professional guidance to his business clients.

Brenda McCamley

Brenda has been with the firm for over 28 years and is the firm’s longest serving employee. Brenda is a specialist in residential conveyancing and heads our Wills and Executries. Providing clients with a sympathetic and understanding ear, Brenda makes her clients feel comfortable and at ease at what can often be a difficult and stressful time in people’s lives.

Recently, Brenda has taken up a post at The Glasgow Graduate School of Law as a Private Client tutor to the students of the Diploma in Legal Practice, passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of solicitors.

Fiona Quirk

Fiona qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and joined Paterson Holms in 2002. Fiona heads our Civil Litigation department and deals with all matrimonial, dispute resolution and civil court matters. With a wealth of experience from her background in Family Law, Fiona offers a friendly yet professional approach to all matrimonial and family law matters.

Emma Hamilton

Emma studied for her law degree at Glasgow University and joined the firm in 2005 as a trainee. Since qualifying in 2007, and throughout her traineeship, Emma has undertaken a breadth of legal work, including Wills & Executries, Civil Litigation and Family Law, and is now concentrating her skills in the conveyancing field.

Emma is the youngest member of the legal team and as such contributes to the modern, progressive aspect of the firm.

We pride ourselves in providing not only an excellent quality of service for our clients, but a friendly and exciting working environment. Many of our non-legal members of staff continue to assist and support the firm after a number of years of service. We are a close-knit team and as a result can provide our clients with first-rate assistance at all points of contact.
